From Atlantic to Pacific

I thought I would throw this out there to you ladies. My 23 yo son's
wedding was called off after such a rough, strenuous year for both. Both
in agreement. Now he wants to run far and fast to start new. He has but a
high school education with only hands on blue collar labor experience.
Won't take the time to go to trade school right now(haven't learned that
lesson yet). He's talking North Dakota, oil lines, railroad....ALASKA
FISHING BOAT??!!!????
So I thought with everyone being so far and wide, I'd ask first hand what
you know in your area. He applied for a cross country semi driver in which
they would pay for his CDL training, but they delclined when they saw his
speeding ticket. 🙂 I can't believe what I hear from the tube or paper.
So what do you hear about town?
