Hey Marci,
I can't send emails...I'm at the hospital with my mom. She got a call yesterday that they had a kidney for her so I re-packed and headed to Albuquerque with her and my brother. The kidney was a perfect match so her surgery is scheduled for about 4 a.m. on Wednesday, August 4. It'll take about 4 hours and then she'll be in ICU for 24 hours. She'll remain in the hospital for 5-7 days, then in Albuquerque for a couple of weeks if everything goes well. I would appreciate you sharing this with the Homestead List and asking them for prayer that everything goes well and the kidney starts working right away. Thanks! Lisa in NM
