Fwd: Assembly Required

And let us consider one another in order to
stir up love and good works, not forsaking the
assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but
exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day
approaching. Hebrews 10:24-25 (New King James Version)
“Some Assembly Required.” Few words strike as much fear in
the hearts of parents on Christmas Eve. By definition, assembly is the coming together
of a number of persons, usually for a particular purpose:
Assembly means work; putting all the pieces together in their proper place. Assembly
requires you.
Assembly is required. Why? Because we’re stronger together
than we are alone. Because we each have a unique
place in the Family of God that no one else can fill. Because our corporate
worship can potentially reach a higher level in the Spirit than we could ever
attain alone. Because we need the exhortation, encouragement, accountability and
fellowship that comes from being together. Because we need each other. Because we’re family. Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (New Living Translation)
