[gear] cabinet/speaker question

Hi all,

I need some advice about a speaker cabinet. I have a older Crate 1x15 ported cabinet.  The speaker in it was over heated at one point, is low power, and weighs a ton. I was looking to replace the speaker with a neodymium one like the celestion 

BN15-400S. I know enough about speakers to know it isn't that simple.  What do I need to know about the cabinet to match the appropriate speaker?
