GLORIOUS MONDAY MORNING

Oh! glorious Monday morning, refresh
My soul and move this weakened flesh.
A week of blessed work begins,
And I am paying for weekend sins:
Slumber, heavy food and drink;
So let me not from Monday shrink.
I greet this glorious workday sun,
And wish for Friday's frolicky fun.
