God is GOOD ALL THE TIME!!!!

Posted by: designsbyfisher <designsbyfisher@...>

Hi, y'all,
Sorry I haven't written in a while.

God is blessing. Things are still crazy financially, but God is providing a
lot of work (yard work, babysitting, housecleaning, typing, etc.) for me to
get what we need to get through.

I have to take a minute to update y'all on the Spiritual State of my family
right now.

Terry, my husband is fighting, still, to deal with his father's death a year
ago. Tough, but we're doing good.

My daughters (14 and 12) made me very proud the other night. I had taken
them to a youth revival. They had Christian music, and a devotional message
and then the invitation. You know how, as a parent, you kind of sit back
and watch when they ask if anyone needs spiritual counseling. Well, when my
girls didn't raise their hands, I was thrilled, but then the Lord showed me
something I didn't expect. They were asking for volunteers to talk to the
kids that DID need counseling. Both of my girls volunteered. I cried and
cried. It's one thing when your child knows their faith, but when they are
willing to share that openly with their peers, it's a lot different.

Sharing with younger kids, or older people is one thing, but with their
peers, I was really impressed. One of the pastors that was in the back with
them said that they were doing more than he could have done. Then, on top
of that, he said that they got their phone #'s and email addy's to follow-up
with them.

Oh, the guy that was singing lead in the band they were listening to, asked
both of them to let him know when they were at one of their concerts or
gatherings, so he would know that he had counselors available. WOW!

If I don't teach my children anything else, that is what I want them to
know. To be able to share their faith with EVERYONE! Not just on Sundays,
but in everyday life in everyway, even helping with chores, or dirty work,
if it's needed.

Ok, that leaves my baby, TJ (5). He and I were driving down the road the
other day, listening to our local contemporary Christian station. They were
playing a monumental airshow (GREAT SITE!) commercial.
They are Christian commercials that are cute and powerful (if anyone would
like, look them up on the web
at monumentalairshow.com). Anyway, this commercial was like a cleaning
commercial, but talking about the blood of Jesus cleansing us. He said,
"Oooo, gross, blood?"
I said, "Jesus blood isn't gross, it's what cleans us from our sins when we
do wrong things, if Jesus is in our heart." He said, "Oh," and thought for
a moment, and then said, "I want Him to be in my heart!"
I prayed with him and now he KNOWS that Jesus is in his heart. It's so
wonderful!!!

I praise HIM everyday for the blessings of salvation in my family!

Got to run and get back to work. Please keep praying for my migraines and
kidney problems (both related), they are getting serious, and I can't get
any medical attention at all. I'm just dealing with the pain, and it's
getting unbearable. I feel like Paul sometimes, asking God to remove the
thorn in my side. I'm still just asking Him to let me endure!

Thanks for listening, please keep in touch.

I love you all!
In our Lord's serivce,
Beth Fisher
