Suzi, glad you checked in. I am glad that the rest of you although not
most favorable conditions, are safe and warm. I had to go and get a few
bags of coal before the storm sets in and found that there must have been
some melting overnight as a lot of places had running water OVER the snow
and it was slushy to freezing already.
Many farmers have snow blown onto the sides of their barns and out
buildings in prep for the high winds that are coming. Free wind blocker,
if you can stand being out there to run the blower a bit.
As far as the shower situation, I am on a come back from the pity party
now. I may try and have a 2nd shower which really would not have bothered
me from the start, but mom of the groom already has included all friends
from work, as well as people from the church they used to attend, which is
where we still are. The friends aren't the same so that will be awkward
division. Everything will turn out all right, I am sure.
Please stay warm everyone! Cook up some homemade soup today!
