God’s people have no assurances that the dark experiences of life will be held at bay, much less that God will provide some sort of running commentary on the meaning of each day’s allotment of confusion, boredom, pain, or achievement. It is no great matter where we are, provided we see that the Lord has placed us there, and that He is with us.

Happy Anniversary to hubby and me! I have to share that it's our special day because it's a testimony of God changing the hearts of two very stubborn and strong-willed people. When we got married, we had plenty of nay-sayers who were convinced we wouldn't make it because we were young. It has been really tough at times. We're still far from perfect. Yet, He has been the glue that has held us together. God gets all the glory for us celebrating 31 years today!
