Happy Resurrection Day!

Happy Resurrection Day everyone! The boys and I went to church. There were loads of people there, many who don't usually attend that church. They fixed fajitas for everyone so we grabbed lunch before leaving. This is the first Easter in years, maybe in our entire marriage that we didn't host or attend a family Easter dinner. Weird but with my mom and the girls gone, dh on call, and the grown boys too far away, that's just the way the day has been.

Tomorrow, I'll be leaving in the morning for Roswell. My mom and brother should be bringing the girls back from Colorado. Dh is off and will be working around here. He does have to go to his office to turn in some papers or something and may learn what is going to happen with the supervisor situation. We don't know if they are waiting to question the three guys that were absent Thursday or if they are making a decision without that input. It's very awkward for us because the supervisor lives just a little ways down the road from our house. We have to drive by his house every time we go to town. We waved to him as we drove by today but aren't sure his reaction. He had asked dh to stop by his house Thursday evening but dh told him all the men were ordered to not discuss the situation with him, with each other, or with anyone else. That was not what he wanted to hear.

Dh is also planning on fixing a belated Easter dinner for us tomorrow evening....brisket and side dishes. I have to do errands in Roswell while waiting on the girls. Hopefully, we'll get back on a normal schedule now that their traveling is done for awhile.

We have had lovely warm days here. Some wind but not too bad yet. I spent a lot of time outside Friday which really boosted my spirits. I feel like a bear waking up from hibernation 🙂
