HD500 stuff

I finally figured out how and why to use two amps in a patch. I found a nice clean tone that I like using the Fender Blackface Dbl model and a dirty tone with the Plexi Lead 100 nml model. I have the Blackface on channel A and the Plexi on channel B, with one of them on and one of the off. They are both linked to Footswitch 1 (FS1). When you hit the footswitch it switches one off and the other one on. The effects chain is exactly the same for both. Very cool, it gives me another channel with a really nice clean tone. The problem is that using two amp models really takes up DSP space, so you cannot use as many effects. So, what I'm doing is creating a bank with the same amp models in every spot in the bank, but with different effects in different spots. Not ideal, it would be best if I could simply use whatever effects I want in the same patch. But it should prove to be useful. When I get everything sounding the way I want it to I'll record something and post it for comments.
