We must trust the sovereignty of God in all our unfavorable circumstances believing that He has a good plan for us. But we need to do this through a Christ-centered, Gospel-focused perspective knowing that the good that our Lord desires – growing in Christlikeness and making Him known.

Dear Ladies,
 
In the last newsletter please disregard the entreaty to send Christmas cards to unnamed wounded American soldiers.  Although it sounded like a great idea, it is listed at http://www.snopes.com as a hoax.  http://www.snopes.com/politics/christmas/soldiercards.asp
 
This site says cards and packages received at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center without a name will be refused, and when I learned about that, I didn't want any of you wasting their time, effort and resources, because of my oversight.  I'm very sorry for not checking this out before including it in the newsletter. 
 
By the way, if you were a new subscribers that was started last night and today that section was deleted.
