Home from the hospital

Dear Hope Chest friends,

Surgery went well yesterday. I still have half a thyroid. I came home
mid-morning. I'm tired and sore and have a scratchy throat from the
breathing tube, but I'm otherwise fine. Families from church are
bringing meals and helping with the children. I'm going to eat dinner
now and go back to bed.
