"HOT" issues

I do know that one thing God has taught me is to have compassion and be willing to look at things through other's eyes.I was raised in a Christian home and went away from the Lord for a bit. I made a profession as a child, but don't really remember a specific instance. After God brought me to my knees by not allowing me to get pregnant, I started to live for Him. I was also plagued with guilt about was I "really" saved or not. Some people believe in backsliding, others say not, etc. However, I had to come to my own place with where I was. It was between me and my God. This is not the point, but I made sure by accepting him and then was eventually rebaptized.
Some people would have had peace with God that they were truly saved (especially with some of the experiences I had). However, it is not up to me to tell them they are wrong OR right. That is between them and God. We can share our experience, but we can't claim to be THE authority. Some issues are black and white in the Bible. The only way to God is through Christ being one of them. Some issues are not that black and white.
I know there are many different beliefs on baptism. There is at least one on this list that I know believes in "Covenant" infant baptism. They have scriptures to base that on. Some believe that you do not receive the Holy Spirit until you are baptized. Some people believe you are not saved until you are baptized. Some people believe that baptism is the first act of obedience a new believer should take. An outward show of what happened inside. They all support their belief in scripture. Now here is where the devil steps in. He gets us Christians arguing about which way is right. Now we are pointing fingers, being divisive and have our eyes off of the Lord.
I just don't want to see that happen on this list over any issue. OKAY? Still smiling........
