Hello Friends,

I want to thank you for being a part of Pastor Mail. Every once in awhile we need to review some "house keeping items".

1) Remember that if you want to reply to a person giving them a compliment, send the message to their email address and not the list. These type messages are deleted by me before they get to anyone. WHEN YOU HIT "REPLY" YOU ARE SENDING A MESSAGE TO THE WHOLE LIST.

2) Recently offers have been made for material. Those making the offer always say to contact him personally. Many of you have sent to the list instead. I did not forward these requests. Simply take the time to find the person's email address in the body of the message and send to him directly.

3) "It is more blessed to give than to receive." For awhile people were contributing their own original material or sending pertinent illustrations. This has slowed down again. Personally, I am more interested in seeing outlines, sermons and illustrations than I am other items. How about sharing more often with us?

4) ATTACHMENTS DON'T WORK! Sorry, we've tried. I'm able to open most of them, but by the time they get to the you the attachment is dropped. I'll look into this, but until further notice it is useless to send attachments.

5) For some of you, this is welcome to the list. I have stopped screening those wishing to join the list, so I need to remind you that this is a list for male pastors, retired pastors, youth pastors and student pastors. If you do not meet these categories, please quietly unsubscribe. Hope you understand. Thanks.

6) I hope that the tone of this message does not sound negative, and I feel kind of like a drill sergeant! 🙂 But if you follow these simple rules the 400 or so of us on this list will be much happier, especially me! 🙂
