Humidity..

We live on the way north coast of Northern California. It is very humid
here all the time...I don't remember ever seeing it below 75% and usually
higher but..it is not hot so the humidity is ok and the flowers and greenery
just love it. Flowers grow twice the size as inland where there is less
moisture in the air. The coast of OR is humid as well but again not hot.

Inland Or and CA are hot and not so humid. Some areas very low himidity but
it does vary inland. The Oregon coast gets more rain than we do. We are
just south of Crescent City and the heavy rain starts there. I just read
that coastal Washington averages 144 inches of rain a year. Seems that the
rain lessens some as one looks south. We get average 40 inches. Quite a
difference but Crescent City gets twice our average.

Bottom line....humidity intensifies the heat but where the temp is lower it
is not really a problem.
