I know you already, I'm pretty sure! Didn't I talk to you about adoption,
just before you left Alamogordo? You were interested in a baby with DS? If
this is you, I remember....yippee, I'm not senile yet 🙂
You're right, Ruidoso is nice and green with all the pine trees and Capitan
is too right now with all the rain in August, but you wouldn't believe all
the changes taking place with all the growth, particularly with the added
gambling opportunities! Ugh, it's not nice. I have talked to friends who
left Ruidoso for Georgia and they see it as a place with a very dark cloud
over it, spiritually and in every other way. They had started a Calvary
Chapel in Ruidoso and saw lots of the ugly stuff underneath all the money
and fast living. The construction boom is still going on and people are
moving in everywhere there is a piece of vacant space. Crime has risen,
traffic is much worse, and Wal-Mart charges higher prices than other
Wal-Marts! God may not intend to move us, He never has so far when we've
tried, but we are seeking Him and desiring His plan for our lives.
