Idea...need your feedback

Here's an idea folks. If you had a CD of Christian music (different kinds) would you give it away to your neighbors and friends? I am thinking of an idea to put together a CD w/ a few "commercials" in it for our church. How effective do think this would be to start building relationships, conversation starter, and as an invite tool? Give me your ideas?
