Perspective:-                           Goodness that follows

Often goodness is found only in retrospection. While looking ahead, everything seems dark, puzzled and uncertain. Worrying over the future always leads us to more confusion and tension. If we only we trust our master who knows everything, and who does everything well, we shall one day find as the psalmist says, goodness and blessings are always following us.
Ps.23:6b.

Make no mistake, simply hoping for a better tomorrow, while living away from the path of God is just fantasy.  Such people will be ashamed in the end chasing their dream.

But the born again children of God who live under the Lordship of Christ, needs no fear, worry about future, just follow the good shepherded who is able to lead us triumphantly. Even if we do not see good things immediately, as the days go by we shall see them following.

Beloved even as you read these lines just reflect upon the past, see the way He has led you through. Count His blessings, name them one by one and it will not only surprise you what the Lord has done, but also will enable you to see silver lines in the cloud.

What a great God we follow! How wise and mighty He is! He makes no mistake, does everything well in time for His glory. Praise be to His wonderful name. Let us continue to trust and follow Him.

Study Note:-                                 The Brazen Alter(contd)

Five cubits square:

Presuming that Moses used the Egyptian cubit, which was approximately half a metre, or twenty inches, this would have meant that the brazen altar was more than eight feet square, (two and a half metres.) A big man may measure 6'8" from finger tip to finger tip, so that it was beyond the power of man to span, or to grasp the mighty extent of that altar, and for us the mighty extent of the redeeming work of Christ. The hymn says that it is "Broader than the scope of my transgression, Deeper than the mighty rolling sea".

The sacrifice of Christ not only redeems lost man to God, but also a vast creation that was stained by the sin of man. The world to come - the millennial age- is all based on the mighty scope of the sufficient sacrifice of Christ. When Adam fell, not only did he plunge the whole human race into ruin, sin and death, but he also made the creature, the innocent animals, subject to the bondage of corruption.

When the Lord Jesus comes in His glory to reign, the whole creation that now groans and travails together in pain, will then be set free, but only because Christ died, Rom. 8;18-23. We are told in Heb. 2; 9, that the Lord Jesus "tasted death for everything", (
J.N.D. trans.)

The fact that it was foursquare, would teach us the universal scope of the sacrifice of Christ. The number four in typical teaching, usually represents what is universal, there are the 4 points of the compass, North, South, East and West, there are the four winds of heaven, and there are the four corners of the earth. It is because of the universal scope of Christ's sacrifice, and the salvation He purchased through that suffering, that we can now go to men, wherever they are, from North to South, from East to West, and joyfully proclaim the Gospel of Salvation.

Out line :-               A little leaven leaves the whole lump!  Gal. 5:9

Introduction: -            A "little" poison! A "little" bullet! A "little" driving error! A "little" smoke! A "little" leaven!

A very practical, eternal, and scriptural truth.

Consider how the leaven is introduced and ingested in to the Lord's work.
                         1. The Leavened Bible! Under the guise of scholarship and relevance, the leaven is systematically injected in to the Bible.

                         2. The Leavened Life style! The distinctive, separated life style and behavior of the believers are considered old fashioned.
                         3. The Leavened doctrine! Compromised rationale, not the Biblical standard is the religious norm today.

Unsound teaching led people to unsound, unscriptural thing their life and ministry.
                          4. The Leavened Philosophy!

Anecdote :-                             Greater than the Queen

A poor old widow lived alone in a small home in Balmoral, England. She was always happy and enthusiastic about her close companion the Lord Jesus Christ and she spoke about Him always. Her neighbors used to make fun of her for her spiritual attitude.

One day, Queen Victoria made a visit to this humble cottage and spent some time with the old saint. It became the talk of the town. A few people gathered together wanting to tease the old lady. They asked her, "Granny, who is the most honored guest you have entertained in your home?" She immediately replied that it was the Queen. "Now we have caught you alright. You used to always talk about Jesus, so how come He is not your most honored guest anymore?"

With great joy, she replied, "Her majesty the Queen is my honored guest to have ever visited my home. But my Lord Jesus Christ is not a guest; He lives with me always in my home."

Worthy Quote:-                     Talk & Walk

"That man must have been in the army or in a military school," I said to a friend once. "Yes," he said; "how did you know?"   "By the way he talks."

You can tell that some people have been with Jesus by their walk.
