Hello Hope Chest friends,I was thinking of going to J.C. Penneys for some after-Christmas
shopping, until I received the following from one of our Hope Chest
readers in Oklahoma. Ladies, I think we can (and should) do something
about this!~~ Virginia

Dear Virginia:Today my family was walking through JC Penneys and my 5 year old son
began walking backward. He asked me to warn him if he was going to hit
anything which I did. I thought it was a little game until we rounded a
corner then he said, "I was walking backward so I wouldn't see that
lady." I turned around and there in the lingerie department but hanging
on a main aisle is a full size picture of a woman wearing nothing but her
panties with her arms crossing her chest.I went to customer service and was told by three female employees they
don't like it either and they could not do anything--and was given the
number for the district offices. To make a long story short NOTHING will
be done until they get NUMEROUS complaints--these complaints need to be
directed to the corporate offices at 1 800 944-6608 and the President's
name is Alan Questrom. This is the same company that quickly removed the
"home skooled" offensive tshirts from their stores when they began
receiving complaints. I understand this has been a two year advertising
campaign of "varying degrees." This picture is absolute pornography.
When I asked the district manager if he would allow his wife or daughter
to be seen like that he said not to get "personal." I told him it was
very personal when they expose my son to their advertising just to sell
panties.Any help you can give me to get the word out would be greatly
appreciated.Becky
