Just ran a couple of errands including a trip to the Library... IRobin Jones Gunn's Gardenia for Breakfast , as well as 3 books by Tracie Peterson and Judith Miller -- Books 1, 2 & 3 of the Bells of Lowell series. I noticed there is also a Lights of Lowell series. The books are Daughter of the Loom, A Fragile Design, These Tangled Threads. They are set in Lowell, Massachusetts in the 1820s and 30s. They look interesting.I also got frustrated. Years ago I read the first book in a series Peterson wrote with someone else.. the series is that Shannon Saga. The books are set in the west (California I believe) in the 1800s and the main character is Kit Shannon -- a lady lawyer. I really liked the first book. I saw it again, as well as book 3, but not book 2. I searched on the computer for book 2 -- they don't have it. I think I will order it next month (after payday)... read it and then give it to the library. I hate it when they have parts of a series. So any of you read any of these?BarbCharacter is what you are in the dark.
