Right now, I'm mostly on an expenses based fee schedule while I gain experience. So far, everyone has provided my meals while I'm working. My cousin has given me cash gifts each time. I told her I would only accept them as gas money. It's 2.5 hours one way to her house so it does cost to get there and home again. If this ever becomes more of a business rather than a hobby/ministry, I will go with either a per hour charge or a project charge depending on the size of the job. At least I think this is what I'll do. I've never had a business before so will have to figure it out as I go along 🙂
