Lisa's adoption story

I loved your adoption story. We had the opposite happen. We were praying
about adopting two children that had been in a Christian homeschooling
foster home since birth. Every time we tried to get the process going, the
door slammed in our face. Then the children would become available...again
slammed...I finally concluded that the reason these two children were on my
heart was that I was to pray for them. I would be so open to adoption but
as of yet God has not placed a strong desire to adopt on our families heart.
After the miscarriages you would think we'd be ready. As a matter of fact
my in-laws keep begging us to adopt rather than see me go through another
pregnancy. (they think I'm too old...I'm 39). I was encouraged by your
story...thanks..Deanna
