I just finished The Pursuit by Lori Wick (Book 4 in The English Garden Series).  As with the first 4 books, the story was lovely.
 
This series has focused on the lives of several families in the small village of Collingbourne, England in the early 1800s.  however, not all the "action" takes place in Collingbourne.
 
The Pursuit begins in Africa, moves on to Portugal and eventually settles in England.  It is a tale of adventure, intrigue, mystery and romance .. and in the midst of all that, 2 individuals learn to wholly trust the Lord.
 
I highly recommend this series.  Of course I am a bit biased. Lori Wick's Sophie's Choice was the first Christian Fiction novel I read, so she has a special place in my heart. And I am partial to books set in England in this time period. 
 
The first 3 books in this series are The Proposal, The Rescue, and The Visitor.
