Once again, here is a long, long, long overdue report on what God has been doing for us, with us, and through us. It has been an amazing 3+ months filled with blessings, challenges, and totally unexpected events. The attachment is in PDF form. If you need another, drop us a note.
Praying that your are blessed and encouraged by the report. Truly God is doing "something new". As I pen this brief note, military helicopters buzz back and forth overhead along I-8 north of the Mexican border and south of the U.S. Army Proving Grounds. We are calling the Fortuna de Oro ("Fortune of Gold") Retirement RV Resort home for the next five months as we minister to the people of Chapel de Oro. The resort boasts of 1200+ sites occupied by permanent park models and every type of mobile RV you can imagine. Currently is it about three-fourths full, but by the end of next month, it will be completely full with no vacant sites. All told, there will be close to 2,000 to 2,400 people living in this place ---- one of over 50 separate RV parks in the Yuma area. More than 100,000 retirees call Yuma home.
We are excited as we enter this ministry and are already seeing wonderful things take place.
