LUMglobal PRIORITY ---- SPECIAL EMERGENCY REPORT

Dear Friends, Family, and In-Pact Partners:
Today, we got the following note from our dear friend, "M", who leads the multi-nation ministry to Farsi speakers. His note has caused us great concern, and we ask you to prayerfully consider responding to this both through prayer and through generosity.
We're in Western Ukraine at the moment. There have been couple of very unfortunate incidents.
1. My bank went bankrupt within 1 day, and the saving for medical treatment and check ups ($2500), along with another $1000 of my own saving are just gone.
2. I've also received a letter from military inviting me to register for going to the possible war. I've so far ignored showing up there. I've come to Western Ukraine trying to get a certificate that shows I'm disabled (because of kidney). Unfortunate, it hasn't worked out so far. I was told today I need to go back to Kiev and try to get this certificate there. Tomorrow or or Sunday, we're planning to go back to Brovary.
Many of you responded generously last year when "M" had his surgery in which his left kidney and large tumor were removed. He is required to have monthly checkups for two to three years in order to be sure everything goes well. The $2500 he mentioned was for that purpose (there is no such thing as medical insurance in Ukraine). The other $1,000 was money he uses for personal needs, ministry related expenses, and providing compassion to Farsi speaking refugees that their ministry touch.
So, we're asking you to consider helping us rapidly replace the money lost in the bank's closure. If you can help, please let us know your plans. You can e-mail us at lifeunlimited@pobox.com, or you can call us at 417-693-5149. Any checks should be made out to Life Unlimited Ministries with "Farsi Ministry" posted on the Memo Line.
Any gift you send in this way is tax deductible, of course. We are set up and ready to send money to him as quickly as we get it.
"M" is preparing a report that will be included in our regular upcoming LUMglobal letter we hope to send out next week sometime. In spite of what is going on in Ukraine, some exciting things are happening both with the Farsi ministry and in other areas as well. One exciting thing is that Roma is now a big FOUR YEARS OLD!
Thanks for considering this special need. We look forward to hearing from you.
In His Bond, By His Grace, and For His Kingdom,
Bob and Jo Ann
