mennonite cape dress

Hi Debra,
The mennonite dress is a "cape dress" it has a cape that goes over the
bodice, and for nursing it has two slits in it, that can be just slightly
overlapped, no need for velcrow or a snap.
The dresses are really not hard to make. I wore them all the years
we attended the mennonite church and have made many variations
since my girls liked a few differnt styles.

I wore the contemporary cape dress. I would be happy to copy my pattern
for you but you would have to improvise on the nursing slits as I never
had them. My dress pattern is a size 22 maybe, (there abouts anyway)
