Missions is about the worship of Jesus. The goal of missions is the global worship of Jesus by His redeemed people from every tribe, tongue, and nation. The outcome of missions is all peoples delighting to praise Jesus. And the motivation for missions is the enjoyment that His people have in Him. Missions aims at, brings about, and is fueled by the worship of Jesus.

Dear Hope Chest friends,

I'd like to take a moment to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas!

We've enjoyed our vacation with my family here in Maryland, and will be heading home to Florida tomorrow morning. It may take me several days to get the next Hope Chest Tidbit ready to go, since I'll be busy unpacking from our trip, doing laundry, restocking the refrigerator, and gearing up for the new school semester. I'm eager to share some of the neat happenings from our vacation as well as mini-reviews of some educational gifts our children received.

Until then, may you all enjoy the remaining days of 2003!
