much more logical and user-friendly system. I've been using metric for so
long (for reasons to obtuse to go into here) that I tend to mentally convert
to celcius and meters in my measurements. In fact, I'd replied to Kaj's
post before I encountered yours.Keep it up; while I'd resist a major government effort to force us to metric
(I am, after all, one of those "right-wing, homophobic, hate-mongering,
(insert adjective here), religious extremists" who happen to be involved in
politics), I'd still like to see the US start using it as a result of a
