This seems like a very active and helpful group! I am looking forward to
being a part of it!
My name is Michele and I live in Arkansas, about 30 miles east of Fort
Smith. We just had a house built this year and purchased 21 acres. We have
four daughters that we have always home schooled. They are 16, 14, 11 & 8.
My oldest isn't interested in the farm, but instead spends her time with her
piano and baking for the family. The rest of the girls are outside along
side us and we care for 2 horses, a donkey, 5 pygmy goats and 12 Katahdin
Hair sheep. We also have guardian dogs for the sheep, a family dog, a
sheltie and 2 Cocker Spaniel puppies. Oh, and a cat....but that is another
story for another time....
Our school year started yesterday so I must go get everyone moving. We have
to drive over 30 miles to pick up the family dog from the vet today, so
school will have to be cut short.
