Thanks! How do they ship you strings? Do you keep them in a tube?
Has anyone tried www.webstrings.com ? They have electric and bass strings as well as acoustic.

I buy all my strings from Euphenon http://www.hotworship.com/euphonon/. They don't tell you what brand of strings they give you! HOWEVER! they are right next to the Martin string company (and the picks they sell are martin). I have noticed no difference between the Martin SP's and these strings. They only sell strings in bulk smallest group being 1/2 doz. (which is fine with me since I'm a music minister and change strings every week or 2 anyway). But you get the strings for about $2.50 a set.
I know some people really like the Elixir's and other brands that do the silicon wrap on thier strings, but I don't. I've tried every kind of these strings, and found that they sound a little strange to me for the first several days, then they sound good for a day or 2. Then the fuzziness takes over and I can't stand the sound of the fraying, buzz on my frets!

My Alvarez acoustic-electric came with Elixir's. I like them and want to continue to have great strings (duh!). However, i'm looking for a more economical brand and type, etc. Any suggestions, experiences?
Bought a set of Ernie Ball "Earthwoods" for my third guitar...an Applause (ovation) a/e. They sound great, but it's only been three days or so. Got them on sale for about $4.50. That's primarily what sold them.
I've seen some online sales on Martin SP+ strings. Has anyone used them or know someone who has?
