The correct address for the list is "[email protected]" (without quote
marks, of course -- and case of letters is unimportant). As a workaround,
you may want to set up an entry in your address book with a short ID such as
"ccmag" and overtype the To: field in your replies to the list.

Are you replying to messages within the ccmag *digest* mailing list? If so,
that will explain the behaviour you are seeing (based on my earlier analysis
of mail headers of *individual* messages contained within the digest --
i.e., they don't/didn't include a "Reply-To:[email protected]" mail
header). The next paragraph is an excerpt containing a suggestion to the
list moderator, Dave Shoemaker, on May 6th. I'm not sure if any changes
have been made to the digest processing since then.

in the reply message being sent to [email protected]. Replying to any
*individual message* would result in a reply message being sent to the

Doug, did you try to reply to my message below from the *standard
(non-digest)* mailing list? It should have resulted in
"[email protected]" (only) in the To: field automatically. If not, I'd
like to know so that I can investigate further.

What is the correct address to send messages to the list. When I hit the
reply to send a message it gives me the person who sent the message and not
the list address.
