We are people who have received a new name through adoption. Furthermore, the adoption, no matter how much it makes us feel good, was not intended primarily for that purpose. In the New Testament, adoptions brought glory to the person who adopts, not the one who is adopted. Adoption brings glory to God.

"MOTHER'S DAY IS COMING IN MAY!"

Mothers are the ones who carry children for nine months. They are the ones who learn to sleep on their backs.....They are the ones who sweat, push, and cry out for pain in the labor room.

Dads pass out cigars. Mothers are the ones who spend hours spooning out jars of strained apricots. Dads lunch at the Racquet Club.

When Y'shua was born, Joseph never passed out cigars. Joseph never lunched at the Nazareth Racquet Club. And you can be sure that he appreciated what Mary went through as a mother!

How deeply do we appreciate our spouses and what they go through?

"Mother" is the name for G-d in the hearts and on the lips of little children. That is why when any of our kids call home they say, "Hi Dad, is Mom home?"

So, you see, everyday is Mother's Day!
