Praise God, last night my son came down to the front at invitation time. He had already accepted Christ, but was nervous about being baptized. He had told my wife and I that he might come down, but I wasn't sure he would....he proved me wrong! I did know that if he did come down, I would become a babbling idiot, and I did. Please pray for my son, Jimmy Pesnell, as he grows in Christ. I also ask that you pray for my wife, Deana, and me as try to raise him and his sister, Anna, up in the way they should go.
For those of you who have children, please don't neglect them for the sake of ministry. For me I have to stop from time to time to remind myself that my first ministry is at home. Last night made that clear to me all over again. Now, I get to baptize my own son! Praise God!
Thanks in advance for your prayers. God bless
