Ok, Miss Pebbles worked her way through her coccidiosis and it was not an easy thing. She is still very underweight, but she checks out fine now for that problem. Here is her next problem. Remember she is a tiny tiny goat....she is a purebred Pygmy born Feb. 24,2001 and weighs MAYBE 10 pounds whereas her 3 other siblings are at least 25-30 pounds. Teeny tiny features on her. Anyways, she has this lump on her precious little face the size of a peach! It is just under her jaw on her right hand side. She seems uncomfy when we touch it. What could it possibly be?? I thought maybe some bees/hornets got her, but after a day and a half one would think the swelling would be gone??? Once again, the rest of the goaties are healthy. I am going to end up calling in a vet....IF I can find one...not an easy job around this area.
Oh....Anyone else getting snow this week?? The forcast calls for snow here in northern MN by Friday!!
Thanks for any suggestions for Miss Pebbles on this problem. She just is one of those animals who is weak. Love in Christ, Julie
