I can second this as an end user. To cater for the Win end of the market,
a colleague has written an application we needed in Delphi. The
development time was very short, in part due to the available code
libraries.

The killer thing is, it does look more like a Mac app, with only one file
containing all the stuff, no 'dlls. guis, etc sprayed all over the place,
and very small.

This makes it very easy to distribute. He's written the whole lot on a
Mac with a DOS card which gives him the advantage of running all three
terrible systems, and us the advantage of being able to cover this other
market without actually being there.
