When the disciples and the crowd heard Jesus speak of taking up the cross, there was nothing mystical to them about the idea. They immediately pictured a poor, condemned soul walking along the road carrying (which is an accurate translation of airo, meaning “to raise, beat, or carry”) the instrument of his execution on his back. A man who took up his cross began his death march, carrying the very beam on which he would hang.

Online Christian Education system

Associate.com has begun a Christian Education system that will allow
Christian Educators all over the world to freely host their classes online.

You can see the classes in action at welovegod.org/classes
Note the "About ClassWeb" link at the bottom of that page, which will let you
see many of the Professor's administration tools available once a class is
set up.

Please feel free to have a look at the sample evang101 class. The "Public
Files" link on that page takes you to the entire course content (in this
case, created offline and then uploaded using Classweb). Many advanced tools
are available for the teacher to administer their class.
