True saints do what they do because they are drawn by love. True Christians find that the love of God in Christ is so attractive, so beautiful, that they cannot help wanting to serve Him. There is a splendor, a beauty, about God and His ways that lures humans beings to Him (Gerald McDermott).

SPECIAL BLESSINGS from OUR FAMILY TO YOURS

As is usual at this time of year, this List will be taking a break
over the next few weeks. We want to wish all of you every blessing
from our family to yours - and a wonderful New Year, my friends.

Our "OLD TIME" PHOTOGRAPH

We celebrated our daughter Kirsten's 18th birthday this year at
a big old farmhouse where everyone dressed up in old-fashioned
evening-wear for the event. It was great. Below is a photo of the
