potty training

Posted by: mestes <mestes@...>

Hello Ladies!

I need some advice. Caleb is 22 months old. He doesn't tell me when he needs to go potty, but he will pee in the potty almost every time I put him on it. I'd love to potty train him as early as possible and I know that 22 months is early. But, it'll be so much easier to potty train him while its still warm than to try to do it in the middle of the winter. And, I'm afraid that if I miss this co-operative point that he'll be in diapers till he's 3 (Sam did/was).

So, my question is, Is it worth the trouble of being responsible for remembering when he should go (I should be able to time it pretty well, did with Chris) or should I just wait until he's more ready. Till he can tell me that he needs to go.

He's been telling me when he's dirty for two weeks now. And he will pee for the pleasure of being allowed to flush the toilet or for chocolate chips 🙂

It's been sooooo long since I did this last. I potty trained Chris (he's almost 18). The babysitter potty trained Sam (it took her 9 months!)

Well ????????
