Practice Amp

Hi all,

I'm looking for a small, lightweight practice amp. As a little background, I currently play a Strat into a Digitech GNX4 and use my bass amp (a Fender Bassman 60) for amplification when at home. When I play at church, I go from the GNX straight into the sound system. Both of these have worked fine for their respective uses. The problem is practicing with others I have to lug all that gear around so I started thinking about a smaller practice amp. I've was thinking of something simple, but the Vox Valvetronix VT30 has caught my eye recently. It's a little more expensive then I was originally thinking, but I like the idea of versatility. Also, I can get it for 15% off, bringing it close to my original price range.

Anyway, I thought I'd see if there was any advice in the accumulated wisdom of the group. I need something that can rock, but also give me more of a jazzier tone when the mood strikes. Any thoughts on anything else within a $230 price range, or have any thoughts on the VT30?
