This update is from Tim's sister.....

Tim is out of recovery and will stay the night to verify that all is well before he goes home.

Apparently, when the transplant team attempted to inflate the donor lungs
prior to operating on Tim, they were not able to inflate one of the lobes
of the lungs. This may have been a congenital defect the donor has
unknowingly lived with all of their life and never had cause to know. The
doctors are not certain why it would not inflate, but did not want to pass
that defect on to Tim. Tim has indicated that he totally agrees and is
glad they waited for a fully functioning set of lungs. He seems in good
spirits despite all.
