Dear Hope Chest friends,

 

I wanted to let you know that I've been on my knees praying for all of you in the past few days.  I know some of you are at a crossroads in life, or that you and your children are struggling through issues -- academic, emotional, spiritual and otherwise.  If you would like me to pray more specifically for you, feel free to send me a note at my private e-mail account, [email protected].   Please know that you aren't alone!   Pray for me, too, as I prepare the remaining sections of "A Future for Our Daughters."  I feel the heat of spiritual warfare.  This is not an easy issue.  If you haven't read part 1 yet, please take the time to do so as soon as possible!  So many readers have written to me how it has blessed them.  (Thanks for your sweet notes!  They do make a difference!)

 

I had another major e-mail crash yesterday.   I lost everything, though I was able to recover an old mailbox file from last fall.  If you have sent me anything in the past month, please resend it -- especially if it is for the remaining parts of the "A Future for Our Daughters" issue.  I'd still love to hear from any of you on these or any other topics!  If you have me on a "group forward" list, though, please remove me.   I need to cut down on non-personal e-mail due to the quantity I get otherwise.  I think my high accumulated e-mail volume is what bombed my account.   We may be switching to DSL soon.  If you know of any great deals, let me know!

 

If you know of any resources particularly suited for teaching older children (ages 10-12) with reading and language problems, please send them along!  I know of some families dealing with these issues right now.
