Printer Info???

Hi All,
About 5 years back, I bought an HP OfficeJet Pro 8500A Printer and after about 14,000 pages (about 2,800 pages per year), it crumped out on me. It looks like it may need print heads. I know that what I could spend on print heads, I could just as well put towards a new printer.  Here is the question, if I go the route of a new printer, what would you recommend?  Most of my printing is documents and then occasionally a CD/DVD label.
