pumpkin marmalade

this is yummy and makes a great gift.

PUMPKIN MARMALADE

4 lbs pumpkin, peeled
4 lbs sugar
3 lemons
1 orange

Shred the pumpkin and combine with sugar
let stand for 8 hours. Cut the lemons and oragne
into very thin slices and them and any juice to
the pumpkin mixture. Simmer until thick and
seal in hot jars. Process for 15 minutes.

makes 6 jars of marmalade
