Quilting for NY kids

Tonight Naomi and I went back to her school and met up with a few other ladies. We brought Katie with us and quilted around some painted hand prints from the kindergarden class on a wall quilt that is going to be sent to New York. I don't know where in NY...but I do know that this was Katie's and Naomi's first time quilting and they both loved it. I did too...but I was already bushed from: Changing my bedroom around and cleaning it up today, and going with Naomi's flagship class to community garden where we dug up and rolled grass. They didn't want to rototill it under and put down a ground cover...oh no...they wanted to do it the hard way. So consequently between all 3 things done today...my back is killing me! On top of this...I gotta clean the windows and the bathrooms at the church tomorrow. Its gonna be a long night and a long day tomorrow. I'm just waiting for my tea kettle to boil for a nice hot cuppa!
