I can't answer your question, but you might want to check out the Lightsoft
website--they make pretty well the only stand-alone assembler environment
for the Mac (with a good demo version) and have a fair amount of
documentation online. Here's the URL:

One warning: once you program in assembler, you'll gain a new appreciation
for a high level language like FutureBasic and understand its commands like
you never did before.
