Use a standard FILES$ command to identify the file. This will
give you the valid FileName$ and VolRefNum% of the file.

Try to select the file and use the Staz Apple Event filter to
send an Apple Event 'odoc' which should try and open the
file. Being an Acrobat file, the Acrobat application should
launch automatically. This is the easier way.

If you insist on opening Acrobat first, use the catalogue
search to locate it and use the Process Manager to launch
the Acrobat application. Examples are on the FB Examples
disk as well as the IB CD. The send an Apple Event to
Acrobat telling it to open the specific file that you wish
to open.
