Yikes! I would think that would be an absolute nightmare to play! Your fretting fingers have to curve around the tubular neck to reach the low strings, your plucking fingers have all sorts of odd angles of attack, and muting strings would appear to be a daunting task. It looks very much like the answer to a question that nobody asked.
