Funny how this always works. On Thursday I was talking to our lab tech and
he said that he and his wife were getting back $13,000 from the IRS. Yep,
you read that right, $13K. He said they were out to dinner and his wife
said, "I've been listening to some of our recordings and I don't like your
guitar sound. I think ou ought to buy a new guitar". He said his jaw hit
the floor so hard that he didn't hear a thing she said for another 2
minutes...so he came to me, knowing that I either had or was selling a PRS.
I had already sold it for $1000, WAY too low.

Sorry, my 14 month old decided to add to my story.
So, since I had sold the PRS, he asked me about a Warrior. We went to the
site and spent our lunch hour there. JD makes by far the best guitars in
the world - for everything from a strat sound to a Les Paul to a PRS...he
can get them all, even with an acoustic pickup. Amazing guitars. Nick was
definately interested and we decided to see if anything was on ebay.
Sure enough...a bass. Not just A bass, but exactly what I have been looking
for - a Warrior to match my Warrior (to be used a back up) - another NAMM
bass with the same pickups, body style and configuration as what I was
looking for. And to top it off, it was blue with an ebony fretboard. The
only thing that would have made it absolutely perfect was if it was
fretless...something I might do soon. So I bid on it while it was WAY less
than $1000. I ended up winning the auction last night for almost exactly
$1000 - $500 LESS than I had been planning on spending on a new Warrior this
year. I'm a little humbled because it is no joke, exactly what I was
looking for - down to the color. It really freaks me out when God does this
stuff.
I should have it in a week or so and I'll then I'll give a review. Man, I'm
stoked! My wife on the other hand...well, let's just say that she loves me.
