Re: [MUSIC] An odd question for CB...

David,
To answer your question - I haven't a clue, and I don't play video games
nor have any idea what the Halo music sounds like! But here's a thought:

Back in June I was delighted to attend the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra
performance here in Dubuque, IA. One of the guest artists (whose name
escapes me) conducted the world premiere of the theme from a new video
game to be released in 2016 - it sounded pretty good, too! He said a
major source of his income is from midi-sequenced music he has written
for various games, and the piece he presented also began life via midi.
He further elaborated how his journey from midi score to orchestral
score was rather uncommon and most of his midi compositions will never
enjoy such exposure, nor would they be likely to. So, it would not
surprise me in the least to learn that the 'bassist' you desire to
uncover from Halo is a similarly virtual artist, but I am clueless as to
the real answer 😉

I pray your relationship with the new worship pastor will be a blessed one!

There's a list of "musicians" on the CD sleeve, but it doesn't identify which instrument they played. I started working through the list, but so far all I've managed to do is identify the strings section…
