Re: Eudora

Eudora supports an unlimited amount of "personalities". I have nine (and
no, you don't have to call a psychiatrist!) It also has the ability to
filter messages any way you wish, and then either file them in various
folders or flag them in some way -- like with a different color. For
example, my winning auction bids are turned red, e-mail sent to my business
address are orange, etc. The spell checker is also excellent, and I'd be
embarrassed to tell you how many of my typos it catches!

You were probably using an old version of Eudora Lite, which has always
been free. I used Lite for a short time and changed over to the Eudora Pro
several years ago -- which cost (if memory serves) $45.00. Eudora Pro has
excellent support, is available for both Mac and PC-based platforms (don't
know about Linux), and the full version is absolutely FREE. The free
version is supported by a small ad in the lower left corner of the
screen. Because I already owned the 4.0 version, upgrades to the current
4.3.2 version are also free, and I do NOT have the ads.

One thing about Eudora. With a "dot" upgrade, they make SIGNIFICANT
changes, not just cosmetic.

But to each his own. It's certainly worth a try, however.
